Each room in the main farm house has been thoughtfully curated to enhance the original vision of the MacKenzie-Childs family. It's a world of playful discovery and 18th-century craftsmanship.
The Farmhouse Suite is situated above the kitchen and has a spacious roof deck overlooking gardens and fields. This two-room suite has a queen bed, twin bed, and full bath. The Flower Room has two full beds, a clawfoot tub and sink, and fireplace. The Silver Room and Birdcage room each have full beds and share a whimsical bathroom with a clawfoot tub.
The spacious kitchen is well-appointed, including a Wolf range, built-in Thermador fridge and freezer, and comfortable breakfast table overlooking the gardens. There is a complete laundry and extra freezer in the finished basement.
The iconic MacKenzie-Childs dining room includes a fireplace and 18-foot hand-crafted table that can seat 18 guests. The nearby sunroom is a perfect setting for morning coffee and quiet reflection.
The living room with wood stove and floor-to-ceiling murals of the countryside includes many comfortable places to curl up with a good book, play a game, or watch a movie.
The Farmhouse rents for $1,500 per night for up to 14 guests (a maximum of ten is preferred), plus cleaning and tax. There is a two-night minimum stay. Contact Donna for more details. Extensive renovations are currently being completed.
