The Evermore's Story...

The Evermore Estate, formerly the MacKenzie-Childs Estate, has been lovingly restored and is now open to guests.  The original farmhouse is from 1790 and many of the rough-hewn beams, wide-plank floors and lath and plaster walls are still present. You will also discover the magical and unexpected touches from artists Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs, who lived here for 30 years and used the home as a canvas for their whimsical line of ceramics and housewares. The carriage house was built in 1993 and breathes old world charm.  The Evermore is nestled down a cobbled driveway with beautiful grounds that maintain a rustic elegance in the middle of farmland overlooking Cayuga Lake.

The new owner, Donna Fish, is available to assist with any needs.  For the well-being of our guests, the Evermore is a drug- and smoke-free property.  We welcome you to come and enjoy the peace and restorative beauty and comfort of this unique home.

Guests may select from a variety of charitable causes where a portion of the proceeds will be donated. Come for a pause, stay for a cause. Changing the world, one pound cake at a time...
